Open-entry PetSafe drum for cats that hate enclosed globes: 8.5 L drawer, 33 lb cap, clumping litter, $549.99.
$549.99
Why it is listed
OpenSky is the open-top PetSafe robot: bigger drawer than SmartSpin, higher weight cap (33 lb), same clumping-litter idea. Pay the extra only if a covered globe is a non-starter for the cat.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Official OpenSky page: open-top entry, cats up to 33 lb, 8.5 L drawer up to two weeks for one cat, 20×18.8×24 in, most clumping litters, 2.4 GHz app weight/usage tracking.
- Sensors start a 1–60 minute countdown after use, then sift into a concealed deodorized compartment. Built for cats that refuse a covered globe.
- No brand-tray lock-in.
Cons
- $549.99 — close to Litter-Robot EVO money without Whisker’s 90-day trial or published multi-layer laser/weight stack.
- Open top helps shy cats and hurts odor versus a sealed globe; PetSafe’s 4× claim is vs traditional pans.
- No numbered cat-capacity on the spec table, only “multi-cat” copy.
