MidWest LifeStages Dog Crate

Why it is listed

This is the crate that actually folds and grows with a puppy because the divider is in the box. MidWest does not publish a price or a crash cert. Use it at home; do not treat wire as a car safety cell.

Pros & cons

Pros

• midwesthomes4pets.com LifeStages page: thicker wire gauge than iCrate, slide-bolt latch with locking tip and patented Paw Block™, patented rounded side clips, sets up in seconds and folds flat, divider panel, removable leak-proof pan, rubber feet, single or double door, six sizes 22–48 in.
• This is the house-training crate on the list: included divider plus a pan you can slide out. Indiana customer-service address is on the brand site.
• Currently listed (not a discontinued SKU) on the official crates catalog.

Cons

• $0.00 on the manufacturer page on 2026-09-02. We did not import Amazon or Walmart street prices into the score.
• Not CPS-certified. MidWest’s own copy is housetraining and ventilation, not car crash. Wire will not hold a determined escape artist the way Impact HA will.
• The page does not claim USA-made. Folding wire still needs collar-off use (MidWest assembly caution: remove collars/tags to prevent entanglement).
