Fi Ultra

Why it is listed

Ultra exists for dogs that leave cell coverage. You trade Fi’s month-scale batteries for satellite and a 2–3 day charge cycle. Do not buy it as a cheaper Series 3+.

Pros & cons

Pros

• Fi comparison chart: 75×40×25 mm, 68 g, USB-C, T-Mobile, IP68, no Fi Base, U.S. dogs only. Membership features article: satellite coverage powered by T-Satellite with Starlink, clip for harnesses and thick collars, sound and vibration recall (no shock).
• Standalone Ultra membership is a 1-year prepaid $189 plan on the billing page; adding Ultra to an existing Mini/3+ membership is covered as an accessory tracker.
• This is the only product here that documents satellite as a beyond-cell path on the manufacturer comparison.

Cons

• Official comparison battery is 2–3 days. The Ultra landing page also says “up to five days”; we score the comparison chart, not the longer marketing line.
• Heavier (68 g) clip, U.S. only, still a membership with a 6-month minimum on Fi plans generally.
• Sound/vibration recall is not a substitute for training or a line of sight in true wilderness if satellite lock fails.
