Why it is listed

PetsHotel is the PetSmart in-store hotel that names dog and cat rooms and an on-call veterinarian — and also says the overnight host is not at every location. Rates are local. Confirm overnight staffing at the store you will use. Not a sitter marketplace.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • services.petsmart.com PetsHotel pages 2026-09-02 name overnight stays for dogs and cats: Standard Guest Rooms, Private Suites, Kitty Cottages. Requirements page: DHPP/DAPP, Bordetella, rabies; FVRCP for cats; written proof; 4 months of age. Booking by ZIP at services.petsmart.com/petshotel; store locator on petsmart.com.
  • Official store PetsHotel copy names on-site care and access to an on-call veterinarian, twice-daily exercise walks, unlimited potty breaks. Safety-standards footnote names an overnight hotel host (and says it may not be available in some locations).
  • Learn-more page names group or individual play included, UV air sanitation (PetAirapy), daily room sanitation, medication form (no injections).

Cons

  • No national from-price per night. Prices vary; we do not invent a city rate. No live webcam named on the national PetsHotel pages we used (Bedtime Bliss add-on includes a photo, which is not a cam). No PetsHotel location count printed on those pages. No consumer app named on the PetsHotel pages we used.
  • Overnight hotel host “may not available in some locations” (safety-standards footnote). Ask that store whether a human is in the building overnight. Meet-and-greet is not named as a required temperament test the way Camp Bow Wow and Dogtopia name one.
  • A PetsHotel inside a retail store is not every PetSmart. Tour that hotel. Ask about vaccines, ratios, overnight staffing, escape, and keys. A logo is not a health inspection. Not Rover.
