• Meal scheduling is in the PETKIT app. The PDP states video replay requires a subscription; 7 days of daily-highlight storage is described as free. We scored meals, not the camera. Facial recognition (up to 15 pets) is tracking, not a lockout door.

Cons

• D-cell backup and a power adapter situation still matter: batteries are not in the box. If you skip them, a wall-power outage can miss meals. The camera is a bolt-on; it does not feed the cat.
• Video history is a paid path. Cloud storage is named. This is still a dry-kibble feeder (kibble <=0.47 in / freeze-dried <=0.35 in) — not wet food.
• A dual hopper does not stop a second pet from eating the first pet's bowl. Recognition logs who approached. It is not a microchip lid.
