Purina login help page names saved searches and favoriting pets as account features.
• Official App Store and Google Play listings (Nestlé / Société des Produits Nestlé S.A.): search dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from shelters and rescue groups; filter by location, breed, age, size, and gender; browse rabbits, birds, horses, fish and more; visual search from a photo; contact shelters to start adoption; match details on pets.
• Checklist for new adopters and Pet Adoption FAQs are linked from the homepage. Inquiry/contact flow to shelters is named on the app listings.

Cons

• We quote the homepage partner figure (over 14,500 shelters and rescues) only. App Store marketing also says “hundreds of thousands of adoption and foster organizations” — looser store copy; we do not invent a live pet listing total either way.
• Adoption fees, transport, and return rules are set by each shelter or rescue. Petfinder does not publish a single national adoption-fee schedule on the homepage capture. No Petfinder-wide lifetime return policy was named on the pages scored.
• Purina/Petfinder shared login (June 2024) is required for some account features (inquiry form, saved searches, favorites). A listing is not a health guarantee. Meet the pet.
