IAMS ProActive Health Healthy Aging Adult Dry Dog Food with Real Chicken

Why it is listed

A real U.S. 7+ dog kibble page with adult-maintenance wording on the bag. We could not quote AAFCO from the PDP. Not a cat food. Not a joint drug.

Pros & cons

Pros

• iams.com Healthy Aging PDP 2026-09-02: senior / older / mature dog dry with real chicken first. Because IAMS Mature Adult Dog Food is complete and balanced for adult dogs, you do not need to add vitamin or mineral supplements. Formulated with L-carnitine to help burn fat and maintain healthy metabolism. 4-day gradual mix-in. Sizes named: 7 / 11 / 15 / 29.1 lb.
• Official bag photo from iams.com. Bag art: formulated for mature dogs 7+ and 100% complete & balanced adult dog food. Currently sold U.S. consumer page.
• Same maker family includes Healthy Aging Large Breed as a different URL — we did not mix that SKU into this row.

Cons

• AAFCO nutritional adequacy sentence is not on this PDP. ‘Natural as defined by AAFCO’ is not a maintenance-profile quote. We do not invent one. Quality without the AAFCO bonus.
• A hidden calculator field contains 349 kcal ME/cup — not treated as a labeled calorie statement. No maker USD. ‘Veterinarians recommend IAMS’ is marketing. ‘Formulated for healthy joints’ is a label line, not an arthritis trial.
• This is not a cat food. Large-breed seniors need the large-breed IAMS page or another diet — ask a veterinarian.
