Pros & cons

Pros

• flukerfarms.com High Calcium Mealworm Diet PDP 2026-09-02: gut-load for mealworms; also serves as bedding. Sizes 6 oz, 12 oz, 3 lbs. SKU 71010. Schema.org price $7.15.
• Guaranteed analysis: Crude Protein 13.5% min; Crude Fat 4.75% min; Crude Fiber 8.5% max; Moisture 10.5% max; Calcium 7.75% min; Phosphorus 0.55% min; Vitamin A 35,000 IU/kg min; Vitamin D 250 IU/kg min. Suitable for mealworms and most feeder insects; FAQ says superworms, crickets, and Dubia too.
• Add 1 to 2 inches to the mealworm container; let mealworms feed 48 hours before offering to the pet. Replace when dusty. Do not keep sliced potatoes in the container during gut-loading. If keeping longer than one week, refrigerate to prevent beetles. Wash hands after use.

Cons

• Diet protein (13.5% min) is the lowest of the three High-Calcium Fluker’s diets. Calcium 7.75% min sits between cricket (8.00%) and dubia (6.5%) formulas.
• 48-hour gut-load is longer than the 24-hour windows on the dubia diet and Orange Cube PDPs.
• FAQ vs feeding-instructions conflict on whether produce is still required for ‘gut-loading.’ Follow the feeding-instructions block.
